This concert will bring cheer to the entire family and feature nationally recognized mezzo-soprano, Molly McLaughlin and soprano, Marcie Ley as they lead their choristers into the holidays through song.

Vegas City Opera is dedicated to bringing opera experiences to the Las Vegas Valley through special “concert events” in a variety of welcoming venues - expressly designed for different populations in the community. By working closely with community partners, housing developments, the City of Las Vegas, Clark County Parks & Recreation Department, and the City of Henderson among others, Vegas City Opera is able to reach over 5,000 residents a year.

Vegas City Opera debuted The Princess and the Magic Flute, a children’s opera inspired by Wolfgang Mozart. The iconic cast of the Queen of the Night, Priest Sarastro, Prince Tamino, Princess Pamina and that charming bird-like duo, Papageno and Papagena, all embark on a treacherous journey of initiation that ends in triumph for the young royal couple. The music includes the popular Singspiel (spoken dialogue) and is a timeless gem to be savored by all ages.
Vegas City Opera will be presenting this and other new works through out our 2019 - 2020 season all over the great State of Nevada.
Ageless Opera
Honoring our seniors, Vegas City Opera presents a variety of themed concerts at recreational and assisted living centers for Mother’s Day, Earth Day, Halloween and Christmas, combining opera, operetta, musical theater standards, sing-a-longs and folk music that allow our seniors to reminisce and be inspired.
Vegas City Opera and Atria Seville have created a unique integrated experience for Vegas senior residents. 2018 was the inaugural performance of Carmen by Bizet, and 2019 will introduce The Pirates of Penzance - when the seniors learn and perform a reduced version of the pirates, police and sisters in the show.
Winterfest Caroling
Vegas City Opera's songbirds and troubadours in period costumes perform time honored carols from winter traditions, to modern favorites, from around the world. Your spirit will be warmed by holiday tunes and sweet treats all around. Santa himself lauds the festivities as a “must-see musical delight for the whole family.”
