Vegas City Opera and the Las Vegas Sinfonietta bring you a beautifully dark curated concert of Madness, Macabre & Massacre as they present Eight Songs for a Mad King by Peter Maxwell Davies based on the last ramblings of King George III, Mysteries of the Macabre by György Ligeti the strangest coded music from the secret service agent of a Macabre Kingdom, Try Me, Good King by Libby Larsen compositions from the final letters and gallows speeches from the Queens of King Henry VIII, along with the Queen of contemporary music, Aria by John Cage.

Vegas City Opera brings you this concert celebrating the intellectual and cultural revival of African-American music, dance, art, fashion, literature, theater, politics and scholarship centered in Harlem, Manhattan, New York City, spanning the 1920s and 1930s.This 75 minute concert features jazz, song, and poetry of the time.

In Celebration of U.S. National Pajama Day, Vegas City Opera and the Vegas City Children’s Chorus bring you music to celebrate Spring with your family. Come in your favorite comfy pajama’s and chill out to cool beats and a fun time at this 75 minute family friendly concert. Popcorn and snacks available.

Open to ages 8-16 years of age
Vegas City Children’s Chorus is open to students who want to learn the joy of singing and performing. Ages 8 – 16 years can learn sight singing and ear training along with proper vocal technique in a fun group setting. Solo opportunities are available along with the chance to perform in Vegas City Opera’s main stage production October 13th & 14th. Final Concert December 8th .
